LAHORE (92 News) After their successful performances in Japan, renowned Pakistani Qawwals Badar Ali and Bahadur Ali have performed at the 18th Samaa International Festival for Chanting and Spiritual Music in Cairo, Egypt.
The festival, one of Egypt’s most prominent cultural and artistic events, celebrated 18 years of creative achievements in religious and Sufi music.
This year, Pakistan participated as a guest of honour, with the Embassy of Pakistan in Cairo arranging the participation of the Badar Ali and Bahadur Ali Qawwal Group. The group delivered captivating performances across multiple events, earning applause from a large audience that included foreign dignitaries and diplomats.
The opening ceremony featured impressive performances by both Egyptian and international groups, setting the tone for a rich programme of creative arts throughout the festival.
This year’s festival also celebrates the 11th edition of the “Interfaith Dialogue” under the theme “Here We Pray Together”, with several Egyptian and international groups showcasing their talents.
The event continues to unite cultures and arts from around the world while highlighting Egypt’s unique cultural identity.
