KARACHI (92 News) Renowned actress Beena Masroor, a familiar face from Pakistan Television (PTV), has passed away at the age of 67.

The news was confirmed by her son, actor Paras Masroor, in an emotional Instagram post, where he requested fans to pray for her soul.

Beena Masroor was celebrated for her memorable performances in popular dramas including Dil Banjaara, Betiyaan, Tarap, Ishq Nahi Aasan, Aangan, Agar, and Jaan-e-Jahan. Known for her strong screen presence and versatile acting, she earned admiration from audiences and colleagues across the industry.

She was married to Dr Bedil Masroor and was a graduate of the University of Sindh. Tributes from fellow actors and fans have poured in, recognising her as one of television’s respected senior performers.

Her son, Paras Masroor, who began his career in theatre before gaining acclaim on television with roles in Sang-e-Mar Mar, Mayi Ri, Aangan, Gul o Gulzaar, Yeh Dil Mera, and more, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his mother.
